I believe that it is important to continually reinvent yourself until you find the person you were meant to be. After all we only get one life and it is our responsibility to make the most of it... I've worn a lot of different hats in my life, everything from a total hippie, with braided hair and long peasant skirts, riding the musical waves of the Grateful Dead to running the rat race in the corporate world. Today, I ride a Harley Davidson and am grateful to be afforded the opportunity to make a living doing what I absolutely love to do... I can't imagine being anywhere else in life!

After almost 20 years in Marketing, I decided that I was ready for a change. I asked myself what I would really enjoy doing. I sifted through the many possibilities and was leaning towards a career in nursing when I stumbled on the job description of a Massage Therapist. I couldn't get enrolled into school fast enough! This was my passion and I couldn't wait to burst through this door into a brand new chapter of my life... I had always massaged anyone (and anything) that would let me, from my infant son and numerous pets to the Thanksgiving turkey, but it had never before occurred to me that this could be a career. I excelled in school, graduating at the top of my class, and went on to become Nationally Certified and then Board Certified.

Having had several injuries myself, both physical and emotional, and surviving Corporate America and parenthood, I can relate to many of the pains and stresses that take their toll on our minds, bodies, and spirits. Because of my personal experiences, I have compassion for those who feel like this is their new normal and they have no other option but to become accustomed to the aches and pains. It is this compassion combined with my knowledge of the body, belief in our body's natural ability to heal itself, and continuous study of specific massage techniques that fit together to assist you in overcoming these ailments.

But I didn't stop there. I went back to school to study skin care because I whole-heartedly believe that when you look good, you feel good. And looking good begins with healthy skin. Again, I graduated at the top of my class and went on to train with Aveda. With my new passion for motorcycles, I am constantly battling the elements when it comes to my skin. From the sun to pollution to the road grime that settles into my pores, I am now incredibly conscious of the potential damages and grateful for the knowledge and personal experience on how to handle each unique skin care concern. So if you're faced with a challenging goal, I can help...
